Taylor Schultek - Catalyst

Regarding the inception of new works created for Catalyst, Taylor Schultek remarks "I’m crafting a world that fuses a sort of tech noir with the paranormal or supernatural genre. Where our digital wonderland acts like a conscious entity, merging with and taking over the physical world. I’m using the classic sci fi plot of a creation that has escaped the control of its maker, a narrative that’s gaining a renewed relevance. Taking a regionalist approach, I’m using my surroundings as raw material to create a visual language, but with the inclusion of  my experiences that have taken place in virtual worlds."
